Troubled juvenile center to get new leader 
Superior Court officials are scheduled to introduce the new Superintendent at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center this afternoon. Court officials also will release the recent Department of Correction annual audit of the center.

Teens charged in baseball bat attack against woman 
CLARE - Police claim a 15-year-old Clare boy and a Farwell teenager tried to rob the Clare boy's mother on Aug. 21, pulling Halloween masks over their heads and beating the woman with baseball bats.

Inmates Escape Juvenile Detention Center 
HASTINGS, FL -- The St. Johns County Sherrif's Office is looking for two inmates who escaped from the Hastings Youth Academy. The suspects are white male juveniles. They jumped the fence at the juvenile detention center around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
